Help Us Move Forward
Penn State Skull House is working hard to build a better Phi Kap. Psi Chapter has revitalized its presence on campus and our active brothers are committed to restoring our legacy, most recently by raising $20,000 for THON 2013 to benefit children with cancer. And now, with a re-energized Alumni Board, we have set out to finish what we started and renovate our home at Penn State, and to improve the alumni experience for you. Your participation is now needed to help us keep us moving forward.

The Last Hurrah of College
Exams are over, the boxes are packed, and the cap and gown is pressed and ready for the big event. Graduation day is such a bittersweet moment in our lives, as we say goodbye to the youth and vitality of college life, and usher in a new era in our lives: full-blown adulthood. Think back to your own time and tell us a story about your graduation day. How did you spend your final days as an undergraduate member of Phi Kap? Were there any last hurrahs or memorable moments with brothers that especially stand out? Click the headline to share your story.

"Brady's Bunch" Dances for the Kids
The brothers of Phi Kappa Sigma paired with “Women’s Chorale” for THON this year. Together we went canning and had a meatball sub fundraiser in the weeks leading up to THON. Our dancer this year was Paul Dunfee, a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management. Reflecting back on the experience, he said it was “The most meaningful thing I have been a part of.” For the full 46 hours there were brothers in the stands to give Paul moral support and encouragement. Our THON child, Brady Lucas, also made it to THON this year. Many of our brothers got a chance to meet and talk to him about his experience fighting cancer. Brady has touched our brotherhood and inspired us, making THON weekend not just a philanthropy event but a life-changing experience.

Makin' Music with "Cheese"
Thank you to Bill “Otto” Rother ’55 for sharing this story of his Phi Kap role model.

He writes, “My role model was my best friend, singing partner and mentor Alan E. (Nick) McChesney ’55. “Cheese”, as some of us called him, seemed to have it all…he was on the golf team, on the tennis team, a three-time boxing champ, head cheerleader and the inventor of the flashcard show at Beaver Stadium football games. The only thing he ever lost was to me, when we both ran for “Alpha” at Phi Kap..."

Searching for 530+ Brothers
We need your help! There are currently more than 530 Psi alumni on our lost email list, meaning that we don't have valid email addresses on file for them to receive our eLetter and other electronic communications. Please help us to reach more alumni more frequently and cost effectively by reviewing our lost email list. If you recognize any of the names on the list, simply click them to send an email to our alumni relations firm with their updated contact information. Our email database is used solely for chapter communications.

Thank you for your help!

A 20 Year Old with 48 Extra Years of Experience
We recently came across this great story in the New York Times, featuring a 68-year-old man who enrolled in college – and chose to join a fraternity – at age 65. It’s a great read and a testament to the true fraternity values and the definition of brotherhood.

Would you do it all over again, and relive your fraternity experience in today's day and age? Click on the headline to share your response.
